Cookie Policy

Short version: we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data.

This Cookie Policy explains how thebrainhub.com, the website of DM BrainHub InfoTech Private Limited ("the brainhub | TECHNOLOGIES"), uses cookies and similar technologies. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can be used to remember settings, keep you signed in, measure visits or track you across websites for advertising.

Cookies used on our website

Your choice first. When you first visit, a small card asks whether you are happy for us to count your visit. Google Analytics cookies are only set if you choose "Sure, count me in". If you choose "No thanks" (or close the card), no analytics cookies are set; Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals that cannot identify you (Google Consent Mode). You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). With your consent we use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to count visits and understand which pages are useful, which devices and browsers are used and roughly where visitors come from (country or city level). Google Analytics sets these first-party cookies on the thebrainhub.com domain:

  • _ga: distinguishes unique visitors; kept for up to 2 years.
  • _ga_98XT4LZTXE: keeps the state of your current visit (session); kept for up to 2 years.

The information is aggregated statistics. We do not use it to identify you, we do not use Google Analytics advertising features, and we do not sell the data. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

No other cookies of our own. The website has no sign-in, shopping cart or advertising pixels. The only thing it stores in your browser is your cookie choice (in local storage, under the name tbh-consent), so we do not ask again on every page. Animations, menus, the press-and-hold send buttons, the honeycomb of client logos and other effects run entirely in your browser and remember nothing once you leave the page.

Our fonts and images are served from our own server, so loading a page does not contact font or image services.

Third-party content that may set cookies

Some features load content from other companies. These companies may set their own cookies or read your IP address under their own policies.

YouTube videos (Google). The moving backgrounds of the "Featured Apps" and "Serving Worldwide" sections are YouTube videos embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). They are muted and loop; the "Featured Apps" video starts when the page loads and the "Serving Worldwide" video starts when that section is on screen. In this mode YouTube says it does not store information that identifies you unless you play a video, but it may still use local storage in the player. See Google's privacy policy.

Facebook sign-up (Meta). Our WhatsApp API page loads Meta's Facebook JavaScript SDK so you can sign up for the WhatsApp Business API with Login with Facebook (Meta's WhatsApp Embedded Signup). The SDK is loaded only on that page. Meta may set or read its own cookies (for example to know whether you are logged in to Facebook), and the sign-up itself runs in a Facebook window under Meta's privacy policy and cookie policy.

Google Maps. The map on our contact page is an embedded Google Map. When it loads, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

Form delivery (FormSubmit). When you press and hold "Send", the form is posted to FormSubmit, which delivers it to our inbox. FormSubmit may use cookies on its own pages for security.

Links to other websites. WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, our product websites, thebrainhub.in and client websites are only contacted when you click a link to them, and their own cookie policies apply there.

Managing cookies

Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop our website from working. If you block Facebook, the WhatsApp API sign-up button cannot open (you can still sign up by messaging us). If you block YouTube or Google Maps completely, the video backgrounds show a still background instead and the contact page still shows our address with a "Get directions" link.

Changes

If we add other features that use cookies, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. The date at the top shows the latest version.
